Mom with thrush on one nipple, no deep pain or ductal yeast symptoms.
Six week old fully BF baby with mild oral thrush and red diaper rash.

The physician's first recommendation was liquid Diflucan for the baby. The
baby HATES this. Since the mom is not his patient he felt he couldn't
prescribe for her.

Can Diflucan in a liquid suspension be put directly on the nipples?
Is it common to prescribe Diflucan before some of the older antifungals?

This is all happening to old friends three states away! Ideas appreciated!
