I tried to send this message to Karen Lavergne, but the email keeps bouncing, so I will post it here for her.

I saw your note on Lactnet about The Breastfeeding Atlas of Diagnosis and Treatment."

I thought I had the book, but when I checked it was :The Breastfeeding Atlas", 4th edition by Barbara Wilson-Clay and Kay Hoover. It is published by LactNews Press. There is no DVD.

Funny thing is that the authors state that the DVD that was included in the 3rd edition is no longer enclosed with the book due to quality control issues. The authors state that eventually they will provide video case studies in more durable packaging.

Although the title is not exactly the same and the authors are different, I wonder if the book you asked about is the 3rd edition.

Maybe you might want to check with the publisher at 512-292-7227 or [log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask]

I am a pharmacist, so I do not know how good a reviewer I am, but I believe the book is excellent, has extensive references, and a lot of good figures.

There are 17 different subjects covered.

Hope this helps.
