I guess I have to chime in on this and add that it's the one on one with staff or moms that really makes a difference. We've been having some discussion at work about why and how some people see it differently. I've seen SO many contorted, mis-aligned, terrible positions that are fixable. Explained with logic and easy to understand language but then mom or staff "fall back" into it. Lately I've been saying a lot "your baby can breathe" with their face closer and your nipples won't be so uncomfortable. Even the three week old I saw last week was hanging out and mom immediately felt less discomfort. I guess we can just hope to "each one, teach one" and hope they pass it on. Looking forward to hearing some new ideas.
