 Thank you for all the helpful responses. I am even more certain now it
isn't a dairy allergy.

Mother states there are no other symptoms. She had a rough first week of bf
with some jaundice (high #, no bilibed) and latch issues but they have been
doing great since. Baby vomited once - dark red and brown. No further
symptoms during 5 day hospital stay.

I had considered an intraductal papilloma but that is difficult to determine
if it doesn't happen again, correct?

She has a follow up ped appt today and plans to ask for a 2nd opinion on the
dairy allergy. Baby is currently on Nutramigen but mother seems to be
leaning towards going back to breastfeeding fully.

I am meeting with her this afternoon and hope to have more to report after
that.

Thanks for the ideas on cutting out dairy. I have another mother that is
cutting out dairy and the suggestions will be welcomed.
