Here in Australia, World Breastfeeding Week starts Breastfeeding
Awareness Month (August), A NMAA sponsored month of extra promotion
and breastfeeding awareness activities. NMAA sends posters and
information all around Australia to be distributed to schools, health
clinics, Dr's surgeries, hospitals et al.
So why can't we do it worldwide? The month starts with the very well
publicised WBW, then continues for the rest of the month with more
localised promotion.
