I just had a thought about this that I wanted to share. If mom's difficulty
conceiving was due to problems on the part of the father (low sperm count,
etc) then it follows that there should be no correlation with her ability to
produce milk. Do health care providers or lactation professionals faced with
this question of milk supply/infertility *ever* know if the infertility is
the female's or the male's "problem"?
I know several couples with longstanding infertility who eventually had
inseminations and produced healthy babies, and who went on to breastfeed with
no difficulty with milk supply.
