Susan quotes/ writes:

Was anyone else aware of the apparently new policy from IBLCE for
Continuing  Education Certification Points?

"Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. I appreciate the feedback.
As I explained to xxxx we typically do not award CERPs for introductions
and for questions and answers. Many times, such allotted time is
unstructured and because we can’t predict the topics that will be discussed, no
CERPs are  awarded.""
~~~ Introductions aren't structured? They serve a purpose of giving
background, trajectory of the speaker's learning, thinking and practice, the
breadth of their experience, which should be considered valid for continuing
education in my opinion. And as for Q & A, this if the often the best part  of
any presentation or workshop: where the "rubber hits the road" and where
all  attendees and presenters really interface and learn from each other. How
can  than not be educational? Sheesh.
Peace,
Judy
