Can somebody please go look for my jaw - I let it drop too far
Besides the fact that the stuff this doll comes with is not needed, it's not even close to being inappropriate as a toy. Kids throughout history and all over the world, do, did and will keep on doing the ''pretend I'm a mom feeding my child'' game. How overly dirty are the minds that might even consider the thought that is in any way bad?
And how is it more indecent than the overly sexualized, still sexsless barby-dolls and friends?
O, don't get me started ... string underware for kindergarten-aged girls ... little missy elections ... 2-piece bikinis with stuffing for first graders ... All fine, but a breastfeeding doll is yucky?

Still looking for my jaw here

Warmly,

Gonneke, IBCLC in PP, LC lecturer in southern Netherlands

Hi everyone,
Not sure if you all have seen/heard about this.  The commentary on this news channel is depressing but reveals how few in our society views breastfeeding as a norm.
