Hello, 
Regarding Brigett's post about possible contact with HIV (I am assuming
that she was talking about HIV) are many of you using Universal Precautions
on your consults??  I have to admit that after a similar situation in the
Bay Area, I started at least taking gloves and finger cots along and I
became very cautious with getting my hands so close to the nursing dyad.  
I agree with Dr. Jack though, after talking to the CDC in Atlanta, the risk
did seem very low.
