Looking for some recent information regarding supplementing lactating
mothers with long chain fatty acids. Does this affect levels of fatty
acids that the infant receives when nursing? And of course, do infants
receive more fatty acids from formulas with these added fatty acids, than
from breastmilk? Looking for evidence-based information to increase
knowledge of fellow hospital and clinic staff, as well as families.
Thank You, Meggan Baudek, RN
