Dear Friends,

Maria Parlapiano, RN, IBCLC, has started a petition to stop Nestle from providing $100,000.00 and educational support (including breastfeeding information) to all 15 of the city's Family Success Centers in Newark (the largest city in New Jersey, USA). 

This is an easy action - you just need to sign your name (but you can leave a comment if you wish).  We need as many of the 3,000 people on lactnet, (in the US and around the world), as possible, to respond, quickly.  Nestle is planning to expand this program to other US cities.  STOP Nestle.

Maria has written an excellent petition giving you lots of information but if you need more please contact me.

A few of you have  already responded and for your support, Maria and I say thank you but to date, most of the signatures have come from Maria's and my (Vancouver, Canada) personal networks.

Our children are everyone's issue.  Please sign the petition, (link below) and forward link to your family and friends. Together we CAN stop Nestle.
