Re the mother who is being asked to return to her old work area, and was
told to prove that the chemicals she'd come into contact with are harmful to
her nursing baby:

I wonder what the company's lawyers would think of this policy!  The burden
of proof is on THEM for ALL their employees to show that there is NO harm in
exposing people to those chemicals.  Maybe she should suggest that the
company sign a statement agreeing to accept full responsibility for any harm
to her baby that turns out to have been caused by chemical exposure.........
ha.

Reading between the lines, I hear someone somewhere thinking, "She ought to
wean that baby, s/he's too old for that anyway."  Hmmmmm.
