Many thanks to those of you who took the time to respond to my post about
my friend with the uterine prolapse and rectocele. I saved them all, then
accidentally deleted them before sending my personal thanks.
I passed on the many comments ,and referred her to a PT I know who
specializes in women's health issues.
Unfortunately, the mom weaned! She, like so many others I've talked to
lately, interpreted the hit-and-run nursing style of her active baby as
weaning. She's the third mom I've talked to in less than three days who
thought that a baby under one year old was weaning. People are learning,
slowly, about early breastfeeding practices, but need more education on
breastfeeding practices of older babies and toddlers. And with Diane, I worry
about the lack of milk that these babies are getting. End of rant.

whose middle child stopped breastfeeding to take sips from his cup, then came
right back to the breast. Two separate activities in his mind!
