A colleague of mine at work has been working with a mom who has a 2 year old
that is growing slowly and this mother has continued to express her milk for
this child with multiple allergies.  The panel of experts (nurse, dietician,
etc) are trying to get the mother to stop giving the child her milk --
thinking that this is unusual and unhealthy for a 2 year old to get mother's
milk!  Amazingly, this mother uses a hospital grade pump and gets 3-4 oz 3-4
times a day.
