I have recommended the "towel" to several women with large breasts.  It does
seem to help women who have very large breasts to support them with one hand.
 It seems also to get the nipple where the Mom can observe the baby's latch.
I think the ladies I talked to all were concerned that they couldn't see what
the baby was doing.  I did not observe that it caused any problems.  I can't
remember where I learned it-probably from Terriann Shell, in my early days of
learning to be a lactation consultant.
