I remember singing this song at slumber parties in the sixties...could it have
been in response to that bra burning time in US history.  I lived in the
conservative midwest and the bra-burners were just the most far out people
that we had ever heard of-I also remember hearing my father (Mr. Conservative
himself) singing this dittie with "ears."  He said it was a WWII era tune.
My father would croak if he heard this rendition.
