Mothers' Milk Bank of New England is pleased to announce our first  
Medical Education Program.

Dr. Susan Landers, neonatologist, member of the Board of Directors of  
the Mothers' Milk Bank of
Austin will be speaking at
St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton (St. Margaret's Conference  
Rooms 3 & 4)
Wed. April 23 8 AM.

Dr. Landers will be speaking on "Donor human milk banking - benefits  
and limitations."
Topics include:
Benefits of human milk feeding for preterm infants
Current risks, limitations and safety concerns of donor    human milk
Guidelines and procedures of the Human Milk Banking Association of  
North America (HMBANA)
Current controversies in human milk banking:
	cost
	nutritional labeling
	heat treatment methods
	federal regulation
Clinical indications and efficacy of donor human milk

The program is free. CMEs available, courtesy of the CT Children's  
Medical Center.
