Hi everyone. This is my first posting on lactnet, however i enjoy reading all the helpful tips. I am seeing a mom who is a primip. Baby is 8 days old and nursing and gaining well. Mom had severe engorgement when i saw the baby in my office 48 hrs. after discharge. I saw Mom again yesterday. She is no longer engorged and both Mom and baby are doing great. However the Mom asked if it was "normal to have blurred vision" while nursing?? She said it happens each time the baby goes to breast and lasts just a few minutes, then her sight is clear. Could this be hormonal?? Have any of you out there ever heard or encountered this? She does not wear glasses and said her vision is fine otherwise.
