Dear Lactnetters,

I had a client call today saying she took her baby to a physician yesterday
who diagnosed thrush in her baby's mouth and told her it came from the the
baby's antibiotic eye drops she's been on for 4-5 days for "mattery" eyes. I
don't believe the drug is absorbed that much systemically to account for a
cause of thrush--was wondering if any of you have heard of this or seen any
evidence?

Thanks,
