In my experience, sometimes babies bite if they are only permitted to 
nurse for nutrition and not comfort.  Biting is their way of 
communicating that they are done eating, or not hungry in the first 
place.  Hanging out to comfort suck is no longer in their "vocabulary." 
  These moms need to watch closely to see when baby is done to remove 
them from the breast before they chomp.
