There are some reported cases of skin irritations, mine included.
In "Complementary Therapies for Pregnancy & Childbirth" by Denise Tiran & Sue Mack quote De Groot & Weyland 1993, Southwell et al 1997.

We are all sensitive to different plants, chemical agents whether applied or ingested. I feel caution should always be used with test dosage for reactions. Having poured in Baby Oil because of dry skin, without first asking my mother, I was so shocked by the reaction of my skin which took a whole month to recover that from that day on I heeded good advice to test dose first.(this was some 30 years ago & it was the dermatologist whose advice I heeded).
