Re  : Luvox (fluvoxamine)

Luvox is a new antidepressant (serotonin reuptake inhibitor) primarily
indicated for OCD(obsessive compulsive disorder).  It belongs to the same
family as Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, etc. and it is useful as an antidepressant.
No data at all is available as to its distribution into milk.

As of this time, we have some data showing Zoloft plasma levels in breastfed
infants to be undetectible,  but this is only one case study.

Luvox Kinetics:

Peak =2-8 hrs,  Half-life=15 hrs, protein binding=77%

Side effects: Nausea vomiting(37%), somnolence,dry mouth(26%), headache(22%),
constipation(18%).
