The going rate of *purchasing* donated breastmilk at the nearest milk bank
to me is $2.50 per ounce. I had a mother lose over 200 ounces of frozen
milk in the hurricane last year. She was reimbursed every bit of this.
She had to get documentation from the milk bank, and was given over $400.
She purchased a generator with the money :)

Someone estimated that to purchase and feed bought breastmilk for the first
year of life would cost $29,000 per child. We call it liquid gold for a
reason!
