I bet you all can't find a connection betwen the Grateful Dead and
Breastfeeding?

Well, there is.  Ha!

Last year, when the Dead played in Vermont (they played here last year and
this summer also..I missed both, alas!)...Jerry Garcia, in response to a
letter from a local LLL Leader friend of mine, gave their LLL group $400.
This was his donation to further the cause of breastfeeding. He suffered
from terrible Diabetes Mellitus, as well as other things...and wanted to
help the group promote breastfeeding to save a child from having Diabetes.

Too old too soon, too smart too late.
