because this is so serious I don't see anything wrong with substituting soy
for a few days while repeat is being done to rule out false positives.  That
said I think it is VERY WRONG to simply call a mom, tell her to wean!  She
needs help on how to maintain her supply until test comes back yea or nay.
Had one mom wean (she didn't contact me) 2nd test came back neg.  (she still
hadn't contacted me).  By the time I saw her baby was bottle fed, she had no
interest in relact., baby died one mo later - SIDS.  So that is my  sad tale
and I think any program that tells a mom to WEAN without info on maintaining
supply until dx confirmed is not ethical.  Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
