I have written to NOW only to receive their standard response that it will take at least two weeks to get an actual answer to the points I raised.

But the standard letter does give a brief description of their intent and basic policy, which is to achieve parity between men and women in the workplace.
Of course, men can never be equal...they can't breastfeed.  

But, to make things more equal, perhaps we can make it required that babies have access to "A" parent during the work day.  Then dads could bring babies to work to daycare at THEIR workplace, and take breaks to nurture and bottlefeed, or otherwise provide, the EBM that their wives are expressing elsewhere.

 Looked at correctly, neither moms nor businesses nor our society in general would lose by allowing mom, supporting mom, enabling mom to breastfeed longer, either at home or in the workplace.  The only people who would lose out would be the formula companies.  Fortunately for them, they have already expanded themselves into every other nook and cranny of the commercial world.  On the one hand, giving up the production and marketing of formula might be a loss.  On the other hand, look at all money they would make if we stopped boycotting their products.
