If Maka's friend may not be pregnant now, but anticipates that she might
become pregnant soon.  She is concerned that her milk supply may
decrease to a point where it is difficult to exclusively breastfeed her
baby.

If she is not yet pregnant, perhaps beginning to do some regular milk
expression would be useful.  It occurs to me that she could freeze a
supply of her own milk to supplement her baby should it come necessary.
The extra stimulation could also serve to reduce her fertility for a bit
longer.
