I'm wondering what herbs you've heard suggested? Celebrex is often
given to help with the pain and sleep, SSRI's with the pain, and Ca++
and Mg++ to help with spasms. I haven't heard of dietary issues
that might work but I have a pretty good diet- not as good as when I
was vegetarian though.

ah, like we need to hear more. Yes, it could be, or it could be fear.
I do Nia with a physician who is in a clinic for "last resort"
fibromyalgia patients and she sees many who are in wheelchairs because
they are afraid to exercise because of the pain they feel that day or
that week. I personally was in intense pain a couple years ago until
I returned to yoga and discovered Nia (www.nia-nia.com) and I feel
much better- yeah, I get exhausted when I ski the bumps, but most of
us do! I guess I'm lucky in the encouragement I had from my
physician- a DO family practitioner- who said, "if there's a cure for
fibromyalgia it's in intense exercise". Acupunture helps too, and in
chinese medicine it's treated as a stress related condition- it would
make sense that breastfeeding would help then, huh?

kate, who is very stressed by having 3 kids!
