Today when I went to visit my favorite natural food store, lo and behold
there was a shelf full of organic soy baby formula. I know these owners and
mentioned to the cashier how disturbed I was to see this. "Oh" she said, "That
was a special order for a customer who never picked it up, so we put it out
on the shelf." I said that this was promoting the use of formula under the
guise that because it is organic, it is okay. She really didn't get it cause
she kept stressing "but this is organic and not like the chemical stuff."
When I go in there next week, I will be seeing the actual owner and wanted to
know how you all feel about this and what I might say to her. Thanks,
AnnConlon-Smith, IBCLC
