Naked time:) and not too much in the way of solids...This really encourages
my toddler to nurse alot.

I did have one acquaintance who had a similar situation but with an older
child....a very verbal 2 1/2 yr old. The baby would tell her 'milk's running
out'.....and 'no more milk'.....baby did wean after telling mom 'mom, no milk
left'. This happened over short period of time. Turns out mom had
developed thyroid problems and didn't know it....it was discovered several
months after the decrease in supply/weaning. Since this 2 1/2 yr old was
still nursing alot during the day and at night, the hypothyroid issues were
probably the cause of the supply issues....

Another idea about the mom with whom you're working....has this been
something that occured over a few days? or has it been developing over the
longer term? My supply gets lower right before I get my period. Very
low.....especially with my first 4 or 5 cycles....it's not so pronounced
now...or perhaps I, and alana just don't notice it as much because she's now
has this newfound love of nursing....which is *so* cool.

take care,
