Not to mention that one day Joey may just decide the breast looks pretty
good. There's a mother on parent-l with 6 adopted children, one of whom was
very abused and antisocial when adopted. The mom always held her close
while feeding and never let the child hold her own bottle even though social
workers viewed holding it as a major developmental milestone that moms
should strive for. :-/ One day that little girl latched on to the breast.
I would never compromise my milk supply by willingly weaning, especially
when one is nursing well and the other is getting expressed milk. She'll be
very happy that she didn't wean if he ever latches on.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that ALL babies who are artificially fed
are guinea pigs in the biggest human nutritional field experiment ever
conducted.- Arly Helm
