Dear Karen,

Every woman is different, and she need not worry but rejoice and put the
tampon money in the piggybank!  I was down to bf one time a day for a month
or so before Timothy weaned at about a year (OK, I realize I'm one of the
short time feeders - this is true confession time), and didn't get my period
back until after that last suck & swallow.  It did come back though.  Oh yes,
my yes.

We did have a rite of passage celebration for the girls when they had their
first menstrual periods.  I should have had a celebration for my last, but
didn't know it would be....  What on earth do we celebrate for a boy?  (I
hate to speculate....)
