I received a copy of the Early Spring 2002 One Step
Ahead catalog yesterday. On page 25 was an ad for the
Breastbottle Nurser, a bottle shaped like a breast! It
states the bottle was designed to "simulate
breastfeeding as closely as possible" and that "babies
accept more readily. Ideal for breastfed babies who are
reluctant to take an occasional bottle... and a
wonderful solution for working moms who want to continue
breastfeeding. The lifelike nipple enhances latch-on
and features three ducts- one open, two latent-so you
can adjust the flow rate." States it is not available
anywhere else- $12.95.
My initial reaction was to laugh and not believe the
marketing, but I wondered if anyone has seen the product
or heard from a mother who has tried it.
