My personal experience of chicken pox is different from the others
recounted: My son, 8 months old, breastfed but on a few solids, whose older
brother got a bad case of chicken pox first (and the baby didn't, from
the first exposure, so there probably was some protection from my milk).
Baby was incredibly sick, and totally covered with sores. Not a pretty
memory. I'm sure the constant exposure from his brother made the illness
worse, but keeping them apart would have been harder than coping with the
illness!
