Mary:
The information I have on Vermox is limited - Only 10% of the drug is
absorbed thru the GI tract - It is also recommeded that the mother
breastfeed the infant before taking the medicine. This information comes
from a database we maintain on drugs in pregnancy and lactation. When we
can't find the info in the usual texts (Briggs, Hale, or Bennett), we access
our pharmacist resourse for info on 1/2 life, GI absorption and protein
binding capacity. Hope this helps!
