Today my supervisor , who is VERY breast feeding friendly , told me that
she wants me to go to a conference sponsored by a formula company. I
told her I couldnt do that because that it was against my lactation
consultant ethics. I wont accept any gifts from formula reps . She said
that part of the talk is about breastfeeding and that I may learn
something from the speaker.
This really goes against every bone in my body, she really wants me to
go . . . How do I politely turn her down? She thinks I am being "narrow
minded." I need her support for the in hospital lactation consultant
program that I run and that I wouldnt have with out her help.
I need references or something to say to her to make her know Im not
crazy...... Am I ?
This has me very troubled and any support you all could give would be
most appreciated.

Thanks,
Cindy
