I have heard of horticulturally-minded bf support people using
anemones - apparently the more you pick 'em, the more they grow!!

I may have got the flower wrong, and there may be other plants which
act in the same way.

I sometimes use the fast-food analogy - when you run a fast-food
joint, you never run out of food to serve the customers, and when you
have more customers, the restaurant kitchen works faster.
