Just a thought...

I have seen many multips nurse great until their 4th or above baby and find
that their nipples have "grown" too large for the baby to reach the breast
thus the milk right away. They can take the mom's let-down and that is it.
The most extreme case I have seen a mom had to pump for 3 months before her
baby could "reach" all of the milk herself...but that poor baby was 4 1/2
pounds at birth.
