I am a few days behind in the posts, so bear with me.

My father, who is 82, remembers slipping his hand down his mother's dress
to stroke her breast when he was 6 and they were in church. He never did it
again! Mom was not pleased and they had a LONG talk about his behavior on
the way home in the buggy! He is fairly certain that he had been weaned for
some time.

I have to agree with Kathy when she wrote about compromises to accomadate
everyone's feelings. My nursing 3 year old knew where it was acceptable to
nurse (friend's houses, my parents) and knew where he was NOT to even ask
(the in-lawa). I always tried to make breastfeeding comfortable for
everyone.

Ellen
