Happy and healthy New Year to all Lactnuts as I send my first post of the New Year!

A mother has called me as she has just found out her three year old
had a fairly severe allergic reaction to a cashew nut (first known allergic
reaction). She breastfed this child 8 or 9 months and is now breastfeeding
a 15 month old. Her question is: Would giving her 3 year old breast milk now
help in regard to this allergy or to the severity of the reaction?

I cannot find evidence in my resources that it can but thought I'd ask all of you.

TIA
