Recently a mother was seen breastfeeding in church, It caused an uproar.
There were those who wrote to the newspaper .....
I hope I won't be accussed of doing anything wrong as the comments are taken
directly from one newspaper article ( found below).
Designed by God
The person in church who thought breastfeeding was disgusting should be
embarrassed that he or she criticized what God designed and created as the
most natural, beautiful connection in the world. Unless you heve breastfed a
child, you have no idea of the miracle of it.

Breastfeeding is healthy
The person who was offended by breastfeeding in church obviously is not well
formed. Most of the times breastfeeding is the healthiest option for the baby
and bottle feeding can interfere with the benefits. So get over it.
It's not "disgusting"
This call is in response to the caller who felt that the breastfeeding mother
was disgusting. I will pray for this caller to see what a beautiful thing
breastfeeding your b
aby is. A breastfeeding mother has the right to breastfedd her baby anywhere
she chooses, God bless you.

Feeding babies in Bible times
To the person complaining about breastfeeding in a church. Let this woman
alone. It's natural to breastfeed. How do you think they fed babies in Bible
times? When you go to church, keep your eye on the Bible and worship God.
Stop criticizing other people.

'Best nutrition possible'
Regarding the person who saw the mother breastfeeding in church and thought
it was disgusting; it's too bad that you're not a little more educated or
enlightened. It's because of people like you that the Legislature had to pass
a law protecting women's right to breastfeed in public. It's also too bad you
could'nt spend more time paying attention to the church instead of staring at
a mother trying to give her the best nutrition possible.

I just had to let you all know that we might not be winning the war, but
we sure have soldiers who will go to battle!
