Gerry,
I agree you have a fustrating situation.
It might be necessary for the direction on changing the phone advice to come from a physician.
However, why is an OB-GYN office giving advice on feeding a baby after the baby is born, or is this all prenatal advice?
BTW I havent used it yet maybe because its not evidenced based but as to holding/carry there is a good idea from a mom in Kentucky in an artilce by Susan Abbott which is quoted in Meredith Small's book "how can you expect to hold onto them in later life if you begin by pushing them away?"
