Dear Lactnetters,

Two weeks ago there was a woman who gave birth to twins, C-section. Got off
to a great start nursing. For some reason she had a couple of rough nights
in hospital and decided to feed ABM.
When we went to visit her she told the LC "You're the last person I wanted
to see now". Of course the question was why.

She decided not to Bf because she had had a difficult pregnancy, she had
two older children, and she wanted her body back after the long nine months
of all the medical care and nine months of taking care of two other people.

She was very surprised when the LC didn't get into a long thing about why
Bf is better, and basically just gave her some good tips on handling twins.
In fact, she was so surprised she actually thanked the LC for not being
judgemental. The LC basically said in return that it's not her job to
judge but to help women choose for themselves what is better for them and
their family.
