The trouble with email is I send it off so precipitously I don't always say
all I mean to say. Of course I will also address the fact that in the
show, the problem was not caused by breastfeeding but LACK of
breastfeeding.

Two other points seem important: 1), that nowhere was a lactation
consultant mentioned--the woman did not to receive competent breastfeeding
management support, if one can judge from the facts that were aired; and 2)
that she was entirely too passive and ready to relinquish her
responsibility to her child. I am sorry to be blaming the victim, but I
think there's a trend here toward not wanting to take responsibility for
one's life and (in a related vein) believing everything is fixable, every
situation can be salvaged no matter how far one lets it go.

I've only seen the show one time so will be seeing it again this afternoon.
I can look for anything anyone suggests.
