Dear Kathy, that is a wonderful story. I want to hear how things go
....after this, please. I'd be interested to know exactly where the cleft
lies on the palate.

I know that I saw a baby this year with a keyhole shaped cleft in the back
of the palate, and he was not able to create enough suction initially. I
lost touch with the mother, but he may have gone on to breastfeed after his
corrective surgery, which was done earlier than usual, due to parents'
insistence.

Kind regards, Kathleen
