When babies cry and get upset their blood pressure goes up. Higher blood
pressure means faster flow.

When they have trouble getting blood from an adult is it OK to make them
angry by insulting them, stomping on their feet, arguing politics, etc. to
raise their blood pressure to have better success? No.

It is not OK to hurt babies more than necessary and make them angry and cry
for the convenience of the adult either. This is uninformed and sloppy
practice.
