Hello,
I have been working with a Mom (permission to post) who has an breast abcess. She saw the Nurse Practitioner yesterday and was told that the abcess was too hard to drain and that she needs to wait til it softens.
Does this sound right or does she need another opinion? She is exhausted, scared, and very done with this problem.
Thanks for filling me in on this one, if you're able to.
Mary Taylor, IBCLC,
Napa, CA
