*And* birthweight is so arbitrary anyway...so much attention is paid to
those teensy little quarter ounces , yet the baby could have pee'd before
or after weighing, could have passed mec before birth and therefore before
weighing, could even have had a mouthful or more of colostrum if given to
mum before weighing (as he should be), might have been/might not have been
induced so the 'natural' birthweight could be different...etc etc.

It is *crazy* when *more* attention is paid to birthweight and subsequent
weights than what is going on with the mother and the baby  - some people
prefer to look at scales and charts instead.  Actually, it's not all that
crazy - people only do this when they don't understand much about bf. Any
twit thinks they can read a scale or a chart.

Twit= British English for foolish person : ).  It might have four letters
but it's quite okay....
