Sorry Maria in my delay in getting back to you on this.  I think you can take a pic of the frenulum whether or not you have a tool or just your finger/s.  The bigger problem is finding support for your contact out of your area.  Maybe the ENT who spoke to your group can also be invited to speak in the area where the docs are less receptive to tongue tie revision?

  <I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on whether it would be helpful to have the tool (they're not expensive, by the way), not because LC's need help identifying the tongue tie, but so that an LC could, for example,  take a picture of the ptt for the mother to bring with her to an appt.

Also, does anyone have feelings against this?
