I just read the post about the formula discharge packs.  I work in as an NICU
 LC and we give all our moms a "Ross" cooler bag to transport their EBM in.
  These bags are provided to our hospital at no cost to us.  The bag comes
with two refreezable blue ice packs and it is small enough so that a mom who
comes to visit her SCN baby, day after day, doesn't have to lug around a big
cooler.  Our usual NICU census is 45-60 babies.

Our hospital will probably never be baby friendly, due to our # of deliveries
(l2,000+/year) but I feel like anything we can do to help a mom continue
pumping,
in an already stressful situation, is helpful, not a deterrant.    I was glad
to read about the Iowa study.
